the popular HI-J63MA05 plug connector from the German producer HICON . Designed on a proven and proven design, this flat connector - often called "Pancake-Jack" or "jack flet" - has been used for several decades and has already demonstrated its qualities in several million projects. 
HICON's engineers have made several improvements in its characteristics, particularly with regard to the quality of the materials used and the resistance to moisture, a problem which often causes disappointments in the past. The result is a totally renovated connector, with a number of advantages compared to the original model.

- The two half-shells are made of stamped steel 0.8 mm thick. 
- The surface of the front shell is nickel-plated, the hull-back cap is protected by a special immersion coating, black, enhancing the elegant appearance. 
- Stamped into the hull, the cable clamp ensures reliable relief for any conductor of diameter 4.0 to 6.4 mm. 
- Plastic insulation is insensitive to moisture in the plug-in range. 
- The massive spindle is mounted under pressure in the hull, the periphery of pressing is reinforced. 
- The tip of the pin is gold plated.

Thanks to these improvements, this connector has become a successful product, used by many guitarists for the reliable and space-saving equipment of floor effect instruments.
